My first ever crochet project and I of course chose a purse for this challenge. I completed this in an evening but for my first go at it I decided not to put the lining that the pattern called for. If I was to give this to someone I would chose to put in a lining because without It's floppy without a structure. I found this pattern on Ravelry and is a good beginner project.
I have always been intrigued by the crochet diagrams. I am a visual person, I have a bachelors degree in Studio Art so I see and understand the world through shapes and lines which construct an image. I have only been crocheting for about 3-4 months now and started off knitting and have only been doing that for about 10 months now. Crocheting for me provides the freedom of creativity that knitting did not allow me to achieve. I am still learning the techniques and tricks to the art and I will continue to give my input on the creative process. I greatly welcome other tips, tricks and suggestion . Even suggestions on how to create a better blog would be great, I am new to the blogging experience.
